Name des Programms: OIGM TECHNO-ALPHA

Warum dieses Programm? In Entwicklungsländern ist das Technologiesystem der beste Kanal, um mit der Welt zu kommunizieren, medizinische Berichte bereitzustellen, Rezepte an Apothekenzentren zu übermitteln und medizinische Berichte von Patienten an medizinische Einrichtungen hochzuladen. anstatt eine Papierüberweisung zu verwenden. Mit diesem neuen Programm erhalten wir allgemeinen Zugriff auf die Krankenakten der Patienten, allgemeinen Zugriff auf Studentenberichte usw.

In Entwicklungsländern verfügen 95 % der Familien zu Hause, in der Schule und in der Bibliothek über mindestens einen Computer und einen Internetzugang. Sie verwenden ihre Computer, um Hausaufgaben zu machen, Software zu erstellen, einen Blog oder eine Website zu erstellen, Voice-over-IP zu erstellen, globale Nachrichten anzusehen usw. Allerdings liegen Haiti und sein Nachbarland in dieser Welt der Technologie weit hinter den meisten Ländern zurück. In Haiti und der Dominikanischen Republik verwenden die meisten Regierungsbüros immer noch Schreibmaschinen, um ein juristisches Dokument zu tippen. Allerdings benötigen diese Länder (wie Haiti und die Dominikanische Republik) umfangreiche technische Unterstützung, um den Weltstandard zu erreichen.

Purpose of the Program

In developing countries, technology is one of the most powerful tools for connection, efficiency, and modernization. It enables:

  • Digital communication with global partners

  • Transmission of medical reports and prescriptions to pharmacies and hospitals

  • Uploading and accessing patient data across multiple medical facilities

  • Sharing academic reports and student records without dependence on paper documents

JGAF TECHNO-ALPHA aims to introduce and standardize these digital processes to modernize healthcare, education, and government administration.

Elementary School

JULES GLOBAL ACCESS FOUNDATION (JGAF) has launched an accelerated initiative: JGAF TECHNO-ALPHA.

The goal of JGAF TECHNO-ALPHA is to train multiple generations across Haiti and the Dominican Republic—beginning with doctors, nurses, teachers, hospital staff, pharmacists, students, and social workers—on how to properly use computers, the internet, and digital record systems. In addition, the program will introduce training on how to create and manage patient charting systems.

Why This Matters — A Real-Life Scenario

Imagine Ms. Mary visits a doctor and receives a prescription for several medications. She begins treatment, but shortly after, another health issue arises. She visits a different doctor at another facility, but there is no access to her previous medical records. Without knowing her current prescriptions, the second doctor may prescribe medication that conflicts with her existing treatment. Instead of healing her, this gap in communication could create a medical crisis.

To make this program successful and continue saving lives, JGAF is calling on friends, partners, and organizations to donate laptops, iPads, or tablets—even if they are gently used or no longer in active service.
