L'OIGM vient de lancer un NOUVEAU programme en Haïti. Le programme sera BIENTÔT en RÉPUBLIQUE DOMINICAINE.

Nom du programme : OIGM TECHNO-ALPHA

Pourquoi ce programme ? Dans les pays en développement, le système technologique est le meilleur moyen de communiquer avec le monde, de fournir des rapports médicaux, de transférer les ordonnances aux centres de pharmacie, de télécharger les rapports médicaux des patients vers les établissements médicaux ; au lieu d'utiliser une référence papier. Avec ce nouveau programme, nous aurons un accès général aux dossiers médicaux des patients, un accès général aux rapports des étudiants, etc.

Dans les pays en développement, 95 % des familles disposent d'au moins un ordinateur et d'un accès Internet à la maison, à l'école et dans la bibliothèque. Ils utilisent leurs ordinateurs pour faire leurs devoirs, créer des logiciels, créer un blog ou un site Web, créer de la voix sur IP, regarder les actualités mondiales, etc. Cependant, Haïti et son pays voisin sont loin derrière la plupart des pays dans ce monde de la technologie. En Haïti et en République dominicaine, la plupart des bureaux gouvernementaux utilisent encore les machines à écrire pour taper un document juridique. Cela dit, ces pays (comme Haïti et la République dominicaine) ont besoin d'un grand soutien technologique pour atteindre la norme mondiale. 

Purpose of the Program

In developing countries, technology is one of the most powerful tools for connection, efficiency, and modernization. It enables:

  • Digital communication with global partners

  • Transmission of medical reports and prescriptions to pharmacies and hospitals

  • Uploading and accessing patient data across multiple medical facilities

  • Sharing academic reports and student records without dependence on paper documents

JGAF TECHNO-ALPHA aims to introduce and standardize these digital processes to modernize healthcare, education, and government administration.

Elementary School

JULES GLOBAL ACCESS FOUNDATION (JGAF) has launched an accelerated initiative: JGAF TECHNO-ALPHA.

The goal of JGAF TECHNO-ALPHA is to train multiple generations across Haiti and the Dominican Republic—beginning with doctors, nurses, teachers, hospital staff, pharmacists, students, and social workers—on how to properly use computers, the internet, and digital record systems. In addition, the program will introduce training on how to create and manage patient charting systems.

Why This Matters — A Real-Life Scenario

Imagine Ms. Mary visits a doctor and receives a prescription for several medications. She begins treatment, but shortly after, another health issue arises. She visits a different doctor at another facility, but there is no access to her previous medical records. Without knowing her current prescriptions, the second doctor may prescribe medication that conflicts with her existing treatment. Instead of healing her, this gap in communication could create a medical crisis.

To make this program successful and continue saving lives, JGAF is calling on friends, partners, and organizations to donate laptops, iPads, or tablets—even if they are gently used or no longer in active service.
